Two international sight organisations have announced that they will merge from January 2021 to better tackle the global vision crisis.

The first e-poster competition by the Scottish Ophthalmological Club (SOC) is now open for entries.

The first virtual Scottish Ophthalmology Club (SOC) meeting will be held on Wednesday 30 September 2020.

From now on there will be one major annual exhibition, 100% Optical at London’s ExCeL exhibition centre, which has full industry support from the FMO and other major optical bodies.

The AAO has announced that its 2020 meeting will now be virtual only.

Glaucoma UK - formerly the International Glaucoma Association - is using this year’s Glaucoma Awareness Week (GAW) to launch a new name, visual identity and website for the charity, with the aim of reaching more people who have glaucoma, or who are at risk of glaucoma.
